Academic Programme:-

The courses in this institution have certain special features, distinct from those; the student is acquainted with either in school or college.

1. Courses in our polytechnic involve a good deal of manipulative skill in workshop, drawing and laboratory. Students should be drawing classes so that they acquire sufficient practice and complete their assignments in time.

2. In all courses here, students will be required to complete the prescribed assignment strictly according to the schedule. Students should note that failure on their part to complete the assignments /Term-work will lead to cancellation of term /terms. The students will be declared as 'defaulter'. The defaulting student will have to seek complete admission for the same year and complete the assignments/ Term work all over again. We follow the practice of continuous assessment of Term Work. Students should therefore be regular in submitting their work for getting full credit. Those who complete their normal term work early in a satisfactory manner are motivated for additional work as prescribed by subject teacher, in the form of additional exercise, report of factory visits, preparation of project etc. All this call for a regular work in workshop, drawing hall, Laboratory and studying in library.

3. We follow yearly pattern according to which term-end examinations are held by M.S.B.T.E. at the end of each year of 36 instructional weeks.

4. Supplementary Examinations are also held by M.S.B.T.E. in Dec./Jan. for A.T.K.T. students.

5. Our scheme of assessment provide for a few percent weight age of internal tests as sessional work and remaining for year-end examination. To get better result, student's performance in Periodical Tests must be good.

6. All the subjects are taught in system international units (S.I. Units) Minimum passing in each subject head is 40 percent for theory and 50 percent for practicals.
